Thursday 6/5 6:30PM - Pet Portrait Workshop with Artist Jackie Hay

Join artist Jackie Hay in a step-by-step guided workshop to create an original pet portrait painting!  Each attendee should bring a photo of their pet or animal subject- phone images will work! We will cover how to draw our pet models using some simple sketching techniques.  After “mapping out” our painting with some simple drawing, we will learn how to add layers of color and detail to our imagery.   By the end of class, everyone will have a complete portrait to take home with them.  In addition, attendees will receive their own kit with all materials (paint, canvas, brushes, instructions, and some goodies! **This class is suitable for all levels of artists: beginner, intermediate, and advanced!***

About the Artist:

Jacqueline Hay is a local teacher and Artist from Glen Mills, PA. She enjoyed 10 years as a public school Art teacher before launching her full time Art business HeyHayCreations, LLC. Currently she runs an online Etsy store selling “creepy - cute” Sculptures and Art dolls. In addition, you may find her at several local Craft Markets selling her wares  throughout the year. She has a quirky style and draws inspiration from Halloween and all things spooky.
